The W.K. Kellogg Foundation recently awarded a grant to Aid to Artisans for the assessment of business and economic potential for the craft sectors in Les Cayes/Aquin and Mirebalais/Arcahaie, Haiti. ATA’s assessment will take into account the region’s available natural resources, production capacities and income generating opportunities through local, regional and export markets. This project is in direct support of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s effort to promote sustainable and thriving communities by creating economic opportunities for the citizens of Haiti.
