Arte Comasgua artisans create cards made from pressed and dried flowers and other natural materials. They first had export success about one year ago when Pottery Barn online sold their "lady" cards as wall art. From there, ATA connected Arte Comasagua to an importer, Hope For Women. Hope For Women has national distribution and was able to sell the cards to Whole Foods stores. Hope For Women is actively working with Arte Comasagua to increase their production capacity to be able to gain even wider distribution for the cards. And we’ve just been told that not only are their cards in Whole Foods stores, but the President of Aveda hair salons has personally chosen to use Portraits of El Salvador cards to communicate with over 200 Aveda salons!
